i love to sit down with my sketch and redraw my maps. as i do so i see things i didn't on the water. i also ask myself ?'s and write down how i plan to attack it the next time out.
i usually draw up a sketch before i go on the water. it has all the details i know to date. saves time on the water. one tip, don't use water based markers, they run when wet! i do like colored pens to mark differing features.
mapping really makes you look forward to your next time out and you have a purpose other than just catching fish. my goal is to be able to take people out fishing and put them on to fish!
thanks again for the feedback-love it!
