would this be a correct statement? the clearer the water the further a fish can see and therfore a migration route could have fewer and more sutle breaks and breaklines. and just the oppisite if the water is dark, short sight distance and fish need more and better define breaks and breaklines to follow?

just got my study materail(early xmas present to myself!) and start in on Vol. #1.

thanks guys

ps lookout i'll have more ?'s as i read!

Merry Christmas!

I'm not sure if Buck said it 1st but I do remember Mike Moran telling our group that a 4" breakline could look like a mountain to a fish but we may never see it.

Fish can probably see further in clear water however it's all relative, the depth they move to or take up residents will be deeper in clear water vs darker water. As we know in clear water the fish don't come with in our reach as often and may spend more of there time in a non chasing or dormant state.
