This video was from last week Saturday. Fishing is only going to get better....
Now that Casey is just over 1.5 hours away, he'll be catching his fair share of St. Clair smallies and Detroit river walleyes in the next few weeks!

Casey just got off the water today. Started for smallies, caught 25, but not many out deeper, most were caught in the shallows and smaller ones.
Then he and his friend jigged for walleyes at the mouth of the river. It was on fire! They boated 42 in less than 3 hours. The walleye bite is peak right now. Casey said the best walleye bite he has experienced so far. They probably could have caught 100, but they wanted to leave and not get stuck in rush hour traffic.

Here's another video. All the walleyes were caught right off the Alter road ramp area.
The new Ranger is looking sharp!

A very familiar area for me and some others. I was a bit shocked I didn't see 100 more boats. Must be down near wyandot. Good job guys. It's so great to see such young men doing so well. You have a very good start in the fishing world. And a nice looking boat. John
