River Monsters

I find the TV Show "River Monsters" rather pointless most of the time. Most of the time it's just throw a chunk of meat in the water until some over sized catfish type fish bites.
On a completely seemingly different subject, I've committed to going to Canada this October with Jerry and Chris on their Canadian Adventure. This year is going to start at Eagle Lake. It will be especially fun because I plan to Caravan with them to different Lakes. I am really looking forward to it and plan to be up there as long as I can.
So how do these two paragraphs relate? Well...
"River Monsters" had a new episode on Sunday. I read the description about a long Canadian fish accused trying to 'EAT' people. Last night while waiting for a Hockey game to start, I began watching "River Monsters'. Turns out there was a 20' long, Loch Ness type beast at Eagle Lake! Long neck coming out of the water, multiple humps,...
They even showed a picture of a child that had been bitten by something. They spoke to reluctant Indians. The Indians told about 'Spirit Island' where people can leave a tobacco offering, but it's bad luck to point at the island...
Looks like Eagle Lake is more dangerous than my trip to Africa. Good Bye, Cruel World...
What Bullshit. Bad Fishing show and my Hockey team got swept...what a wasted evening.
I guess the funniest things about the show was after a week with approximately 12000 casts with big spinner baits and the like, he Jeremy decided he wanted to catch a few fish so he pulled out a light spinning rod with a jig on 6 pound line. Of course he went to 'Spirit Island' made a tobacco offering, and then casted around the island. He hooks and lands a pretty good sized Musky. He called it 4 feet long and a few inches.
I guess I'll have to bring some Tabbacco with me.
