Thinking about a trip...

I've been pretty quiet lately. Without going into details my ability to deal with bs has reached a limit and once I get past some training, I am going to take a leave from work. I have two plans and thought I would share what I'm thinking about.
First I am going to be taking 4 to 6 weeks off. Second I am going to take one of two trips. The first is starting in Florida, working to Texas, and on to California. The second is a bass trip to Africa.
I am leaning hard on th South African trip. The biggest hassle right now is a boat. I've even inquired into purchasing an aluminum boat but I don't know how that will work out.
One of the guys I have been emailing caught two bass on consecutive days. They looked huge in fact I didn't realize they were different fish. The first was 6.06 kg and the second was 7.07 kg. That didn't sound so special till I did the conversion. 6.06 kg equals 16.23 POUNDS! 7.07 kg equals 18.94 POUNDS! JEEZ that's a lot of bass in two fish.
I will continue to plan and share the progress.
