This was my second trip of the year and first trip of the year with my 6 year old.
We started on lake Shelbyville Saturday morning. Weather was good. We missed the rain and high winds that were forecasted. We had a light chop on the water and mostly sunny skies. It took us a couple of hours before we caught anything. We ended up with a dozen white bass and 4 keeper walleyes/saugers. The kid had a BLAST fishing. Was excited everytime he hooked one. We fished for about 2 hours this morning and it was slow (just a couple of white bass). We decided to call it a day early (around 10:30) and headed home. Lake Clinton is on the way home, so when we were close to the exist for Lake Clinton I asked if he wanted to check it out for an hour and he said sure. On the 1st trolling pass he caught a hybrid stripper. He landed 4 in about 30 minutes, with the last one being the biggest. I caught most of it on video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UV_SFsJlu-c Its a riot to watch.
