fathers day morning on the water

Post by brett »

Got back out on the new lake I fished a week ago, this time on Fathers Day morning with the kids. Lots of storms the previous day and all night but figured we could still bump into a few northern before lunch. Caught first NP 20 minutes in and then it went quiet until a short movement around 10:15 for a few more. Couldn't have spent the morning doing anything better.

Brett,

Terrific video. One suggestion (from personal experience) is to put a life jacket on the older son. Little ones can inaverdently fall out of the boat. With the life jacket on you simply pick them up and dry them off. Other wise you can have full blown emergency with a small child in the water. (Dad, might need to set the example of wearing a life jacket also).

Good Fishing,
