Lake Shelbyville is located in central Illinois. It's a deep flatlander, 11,000 acres at normal pool elevation.
Water level currently is about 8ft over summer pool elevation. Lake Shelbyville is a GREAT multi-species lake, with good populations of walleye, saugers, white bass, crappie and Largemouth. It also has a small population of big muskies too. Buck uses a couple pics of this lake in Volume 7 (figure 14 and 72)
I shot my first solo Spoonplugging video: Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5IzTbXGzHE and Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siGMneaUjDc
Below is an image of the area I fished. Note: add 8' to the depths shown, as the water level has 8' above normal pool. LakeMaster has a HD map of this lake, with 1' contours. It really opens your eyes to all the good structure to be found.....
