Carbide front guide

Post by BUTLER TROLLER »

Looking for a source(s) on fishing rod front carbide line tips,,, like the one's that came on the original spoonplugging rods that can stand up to the wire line. I assume carbide would be better than steel? I lost an original BP rod last year and am planning to replace it with a 6'6" medium action long handle Ugly Stick and want to replace the front guide. Thanks in advance!

I love the Twilly too. Have them on all my wire line rods.

Plus 1 Thanks Steve for turning me on to the twilly tip. It works great and eliminates kinks
