Re: Nearing the end of another season

Yeah, the season is coming to a close, but I have to say, this has been one of the best overall years of fishing I've experienced. Put in a lot of time and effort this year to get better in several areas, but also realize what I really need/want to work on next year - my deep water game. Really look...

Re: To good not to share here

Another great video, Jim. Love watching these to see everyone's approach and nuances. Always impressed with Bill's reports and pictures, so a true pleasure to finally get to hear (and see) some specifics from him. So much you can see on video that doesn't necessarily translate in a post. Jim should ...

Re: Early Fall White Bass

Kool video Brian! I believe i remember that spot! 11-12 foot Breakline? Channel swings in close there? That lake is full of nice fish! Thanks for posting this. Steve, I'm sure we probably fished this area when you were with me. It's a saddle area with feeder creeks on each side of the saddle, and o...

Early Fall White Bass

The last couple weeks have been spent chasing a pretty decent white bass bite. Fifty fish days have been common. Finally pulled out the camera and captured a few minutes of the fun to share.

Re: Seasonal Migration

Perhaps this might be more in line with what you are asking? Buck gave an example in an article one time using a natural lake diagram and three deep holes. Using your initial comments above, we'll say they are separate 50', 100', and 150' holes. Buck stated that all three would be acceptable home ar...

Re: Seasonal Migration

Sorry that didn't help. Perhaps someone will know where that quote comes from. I've seen Jerry B reference it or something very similar before on here, so perhaps he'll chime in. I skimmed through the green book again to see if I could find it mentioned but came up empty.

Re: Seasonal Migration

To save a whole lot of typing, and because this article is already available on the site, see if it doesn't answer your question. See especially the very first part where he explains "the 'home' of the fish," and what it does or doesn't mean relative to 'deep water' in a lake or reservoir....
