Re: Ranger 680t
Guys lost my storage on this boat. It’s in good shape. No motor. I’ll give someone a very good deal on this if anyone needs a nice boat

Re: Anybody out there
Just looked at a map of bugs island: great looking lake with everything Buck wrote about. Don’t put your Spoonplugging equipment away bc you’re catfishing. Everything buck said will relate to catching catfish too. Watch Duplex or Shell on YouTube, Get a plug knocker and get out there.

Re: Livescope
I agree John. If knowledge is the key….. any tool/technique that can give a great amount of live data on the water/weather/structure/fish should be used.

Re: Livescope
I should clarify that I heard Gerald Swindle say “if you ain’t scopin you’re hoping’. I don’t have one yet. Not sure it will happen anytime soon. Don’t think I spend enough time on the water to see the real benefits. After spending 12 straight days on the water I can see how valuable it would be for...

Ken
Don’t worry about following the breakline with the boat….. work more on keeping your plug on the breakline. Your boat will never be glued to the breakline

Re: Thoughts
Man a lot of good insight here. I’m not familiar with the 2 books but have been listing and watching a ton of content on big bass chasers. A lot of guys do acknowledge Buck but it’s like Champ said there are typically misquoting Buck. One thing they do all have in common is they understand structure...

Re: Lake Wateree SC
If it was this time of year I’d start at Colonel cove. If nothing happening in that cove I’d shoot across the lake and work that side all the way to the dam.
