Re: PAST seminar questions
Use a bottom bouncer. Easy to just let out more line to keep contact with the bottom until you find the fish. Once you find them use whatever tools needed to obtain the correct depth & speed.

Nope I like the color of mine better and don't have the time to deal with the hassle of selling/buying a boat right now. If its still around after football I might pull the trigger but at that price if it's still availble then I'd be alittle concerned that its a scam or has some issues with the boat

Steve
It's pretty common with catfish. When they do the death roll the use thier tail as leverage and try to rip the hooks out of thier mouth and end up lassoing themselves. The big ones are pretty good at unhooking themselves.

I think you will be much better off with the Etec then the yahami. A buddy of mine has a 50hp yammie and it's a pain in the ass to maintain. I will be upgrading to a Etec in the near future.

I was blessed to have a close family friend Ed Schaffer as a spoonplugging teacher from a very early age. Ed took me out salmon fishing for the first time when I was 3... After 8hrs of no fish and me begging/crying to hold a pole they finally handed me a rod to shut me up, within minutes I had 25lb ...

Re: Lake of the Week
I spent 2 1/2 days on this lake last July. No weeds, brownish water with heavy bloom the first day, then a front went through and the bloom disappeared. 95% sand bottom on the main lake, the only hard bottom I found was by the dam and the old road/dike. The best spot I found was on the northside whe...
