Glad everyone in your neighbor hood is safe, but this is really the kind of thing that belongs on facebook/twitter. I hope we don't see any more postings that have no relationship to Spoonplugging/fishing.

Re: How to strain the shallows...

Re: How to strain the shallows...
Kraig, Re-read what Buck says in the "green" book on page 107, beginning with the paragraph "Let's go back to that remark I made...." You will find the answer to your question on the next page, fourth paragraph down beginning "When presenting lures in the shallows...." ...

Re: Hello from Georgia
Welcome back Ronnie. I went through the same thing; I guess we all did, but it comes back fast. Just keep the "green book" handy, and this forum is a gold mine of information. If you need parts for a 109, 209, or 9M here's the place to go: http://store.scottsbt.com/PennParts/ReelSpecs/Penn...

Re: Rods?????
Kevin,
One creative person I know took the spring off a door stop, slipped it through the rod tip, and secured it with a nylon wire tie. It works beautifully and is considerably less expensive than a Twili.
