I will give your example a shot for you and I hope that we both learn something. A1 and A2...... Your lower contour map shows you where you need to spend your time...

Re: Water Color

Fran, That is White Sandy water color! At one time, there were several Reservoirs in Indiana that had that exact color. Raccoon Lake used to be that color, but has gone to a dark yellow green. Waveland still has White Sandy, and several others still have the true white sandy color. You should have a...

Re: Steve Craig

Thank you Phil.
I had a very good day out here. High of 75 degrees, no wind, high cirrus, and a house full of family!

And thanks to you too for all that you post!

RELAX AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS by Chase Klinesteker, CSI Writing this article is likely a symptom of a severe case of my getting “cabin fever”. It is February in Michigan. Re: Buck on fishing lines...

My old Spoonplugger Needle Meter finally quit working. Maybe someone out there knows where I can send it to get it fixed? I now have 2 HDS Touch units. Just got a 12 over Christmas. Really makes a difference for my "old eyes" to be able to see. VERY simplistic to use this unit, and dont ha...

Re: Buck on fishing lines...

Yes he was right. He had wonderful foresight. Also, just look at all the other advancements due to technology we have these days. Boats, motors, rod materials, reels, depth finders. Who would have thought even 20 years ago, that we would have an entire computer system in a small depth finder! And no...

Re: Lures

You will find that if you tear up the lip too much, they will loose depth. sometimes as much at 8-10 feet. I have been able to file the lip and regain depth. This goes for the DT's as well. Our rock bottoms are hard on the plastics. On your natural lakes, this shouldnt be as much of a problem. I too...
