Re: NEW STRUCTURE

Mr. Perry answered it right there.
The deeper area will feed the slots to W and P as the fish move along the breaklines.

I remember this article from Fishing Facts, many years ago. I tried to find out what lake this was from Don Dickson, but even he didnt know its name.

Re: Structure

Looks like several of our lakes out west here! It is the number one reason I use wire line more than any other line. It is also the reason I use Hopkins Jigging spoons and Drop shots more than any other lure here. And now imagine having Mesquite brush and trees that have grown for many drought years...

Re: New Member from Michigan

Mr. Botek, Nah.....Not a religion at all. Just that to be successful using Spoonplugs, you and I need to follow certain Guidelines set down for us, and if done correctly, success is guaranteed. We start in the shallows and strain our way out to as deep as we can go, using each size lure. If we skip ...

Re: 500 spoonplug

LOL!!!!!
Nah.....I think we both told you to LEARN to troll the first 3 sizes!
There are times, in certain lakes and certain situations, that that little 500 will do the job for you!!

Re: New Member from Michigan

Welcome to the board.
First rule.....learn to troll the shallows with the first 3 sizes of lures.
Once you know how to do that and keep all lures in position, only then go to the next sizes.
If you try to go past the Guidelines and the Procedures, you will become an unhappy fisherman.

Re: Old fishing forums

RD, Look in the BUY SELL TRADE section. There is a really nice Ranger for sale there. i can vouch for the seller as honest and the boat will be in great shape. My own boat is a 2003 16 foot Lund Rebel with a 40hp Honda. It has all I need and can handle bigger water with no problem. I am currently lo...

Re: Old fishing forums

RD, Its ok if your friend doesnt want to fish "that way", so to speak. Get you a smaller 14 foot boat and motor, and go out and MAP your structures on your own. Then you and your friend can go out together and simply cast all the spots you found. It will take longer to figure out, but at l...

Re: Old fishing forums

If it is and has always been a scam, then man.......have I ever been taken in!!!! LOL! How is it a scam for Buck to tell us we dont need a 50 to 60 thousand dollar bass boat? How are we scammed if Buck says that Knowledge is the Key? How is it a scam if he told us we dont have to be a precision cast...
