John; You are exactly right. Phil follows the guidelines and his results show. He should be an example to all of us. He puts the work in and pays attention to all the details . He not only read and studied all the material, he follows it to a T. Buck would give him a high grade. Bill.

Water Temps this week were in the mid to upper 40's. Next week the weather will be much warmer. Around 80 degrees. Definitely will help get the water temps up. I did not see any weed growth yet on Lake Monona when I was out this past Monday. More sun this week should get that going also. Last season...

A little story about Lake Kegonsa and water color. My uncle John has lived right across the street from Lake Kegonsa since the early 80's. Back then they didn't have the modern sewer system that they do now. The water color was so good in the summer, dark yellow green, that he use to go out in the m...

John the hat makes you look just plain cool. I don't see lazy, the eyes show a piercing determination. Or it may be possible you are real relaxed after a few drinks. Lol. Bill.

Just think if you were on a week long trip, and a battery died or something happened and you lost the electronics. I think a lot of people would have the deer in the headlights look on their face. Unless they had spoonplugging knowledge they could be DOA. Bill.

Great job Jim and Casey; While you were at Rainy Lake I was at my sisters in Egg Harbor. My trip was like your Rainy Lake. High winds, boat was damaged at night while docked at pier. Winds were only predicted to be 3-5 that night. Trip was a bust. Going back in September. Glad you guys hit it when t...
Re: U-N-C-L-E
Fran; I have to say I am physically and emotionally drained just by reading what you went through. I thought I could even hear the foul language over here in Wisconsin. Soon you will be sitting in that boat catching fish and saying " Oh yea this is all worth it" Bill.

John; 3 situations come to mind. The first is when there is not enough depth to provide a sanctuary. the second is where the deeper water is an unsafe environment due to a large amount of big predators. The third is the weedline reaches a good depth and the water past that does not increase a whole ...
