Re: In need of a boat
Bink,
What are you looing for?
I was gearing up to sell boats in Africa but that whole thing fell apart.
I have a real beautiful 201 Ranger Bass Boat and a 1994 Alumacraft Competitor 17' tiller.

Last Day in Africa
I have had a wonderful trip to Africa. There have been many experiences and while the fishing hasn't been particularly good - I have shown a few fisherman that "Yes!, Spoonplugging does work in Africa". AND that fish in South Africa do in fact eat Spoonplugs and Blades quite readily. My pe...

The Boat...Oh well I Tried
I knew bringing Spoonplugging to Africa would be a challenge. In order to do the best job I could, I made sure I brought all the correct rods, line, reels, and lures. Tiller boats are not easy to find so I actually ended up buying 2 boats. The first just ended up being too small and cramped. The sec...

Re: Hello From Africa!
I was disappointed in the Crocs. We saw huge slides but we didn't see the actual crocs. They are really shy I guess. Yes, I am looking forward to going for Kings when I get back. My brother-in-law and our wives are coming for a nice long weekend. It is nice to know you'll get out there before us to ...

Hello From Africa!
Hi Guys! First of all I am sorry to all. After the day I arrived, I had absolutely no Internet or cell phone access. I had been told differently so I made it known I'd be contacting everyone regularly. Not even close. Africa has been GREAT! Despite being told by numerous people Spoonplugging wouldn'...

Re: On the Way...
I am in Johannesburg, South Africa! 10 hours on a plane really is as LONG as it sounds. Actually slept about 5 of them and still had time to watch 2 movies...I don't think I will ever sit straight again... Now I have a 9 hour layover. Thought I'd be able to get into a world club or lounge but that d...

On the Way...
I left Minneapolis yesterday at 2:45pm and I am now in Amsterdam at 6am. It's just short of an 8 hour flight but I crossed 7 time zones to get here. The nice thing about going from Amsterdam to Johannesburg is that there are now more time zones to cross. It's just LONG 10.7 hours. A bit disappointed...

3 days and Counting...
It is getting close now and things are getting pretty tense. Getting to the final steps and packing up. Despite sending a ton of stuff ahead of me via FedEx, I still have a lot of stuff to bring. But still it's just gathering loose ends. Has been a very challenging week. Stung by bees. Stopped breat...

1st Try
While playing with my camera system last May at Lake Erie I managed to get about 20 minutes of video. Please note...the speed of the film playing is due to some button I pushed in the editing software. The quality is also my problem because I'm still new at uploading to YouTube. There is no sound. A...

Re: Casting & Trolling for Summertime Muskies
Jim, you do an awesome job. I hope I can do as well.
I have noticed that this year we are actually seeing people catching fish. Last year there were few reports like this. Hopefully this means our Fall season will be as good as we hope.
