Re: Following Roadbeds
Thanks for the comment Jim. I had a very unproductive weekend. Posted some details and questions about the weekend under the general discussion board. Seems like it was a tough weekend for everyone around here. Although, the majority of folks around here are like me and are inexperienced fisherman. ...

Re: Following Roadbeds
Thanks for the replies guys. Steve, thanks for bringing that up about the road possibly getting deeper at some point. That didn’t even cross my mind! Lot of things to try to remember. We’ll see if I can find some fish. Temp has been in the 80’s here during the day and it’s supposed to get down to 59...

Re: Following Roadbeds
Thanks Champ. Actually, I know for sure the three roadbeds cross the channel and there’s actually one off the main lake that crosses a feeder stream. I can clearly see the channel on side scan and I clearly see the bridge where the roadbed crosses the channel, but it’s hard to see the roadbed itself...

Following Roadbeds
I’m gonna try to get out on the water this weekend on a lake that has at least 3 old roadbeds running all the way across the lake. I knew this last time I went and after reading a lot of Buck’s stuff and listening to a ton of Dickson’s videos I was excited to try to fish the roadbeds..... but, when ...

Hello from West TN.
I’ve haven’t been on here very long and just found the meet and greet. I’m from Jackson, TN. About an hour from Memphis and 2 hours from Nashville. Anyone on here nearby? I’d like to find a partner to team up with at some point!

Re: “Crown” of a bar
Thanks for the reply guys. I’ve looked over Navionics and there’s nothing mapped within an hour from my home. I figure it’ll be best to stick with a lake that I can get to a little quicker so that I can fish it more often. Do you guys recommend sticking with one lake in the beginning or fishing mult...

“Crown” of a bar
Here’s a question that may seem obvious, but it’s not completely clear to me for some reason.... I’ve heard talk about it from Dickson, Buck and here on the forum, but.... what exactly is the “crown” of a bar? I’ve been going out thinking I knew what the “crown” was. I’ve been driving up to what see...
