Re: Not finding what is on the map....
"Said that my questions were different, advanced, compared to his usual clients." Smart man and no surprise. In 28 years of following Mr. Perry's work I have never intentionally bought a map card. I've been given 1 or 2 and the maps that come on the units are usually 10' or more contours. ...

Re: Jerry Borst has a Brown Out
Thank you, glad you've enjoyed it. In 2004 I fished this area for the 1st time, my guide friend said he used snapweights to get his "small" lures (Stickbaits and Spoons) down to the fish. I just so happened to be fresh out of weights that day, haha. Buck taught us to know what lures to use...

Re: Jim Shell talks to Don Dickson
I agree Don is a great teacher and I appreciate every one of his videos. In 1995 I was given a 4 vhs tape set that I just about wore out. The sad part is people's attention spans and human nature being what it is, 99% of people didn't get it. Thanks Don for your contributions, some of us did!

Re: Jerry Borst rock fishing
Thanks Ken, glad you enjoyed it. Meant to be entertaining and of course to make the point. Buck had it all correct! Take this ball and run. Go out there and troll and troll some more. Learn the terrain of the lake. If it takes 1 pass over a structure or 50, do it until you know it. Use markers and d...

Thank you Jim! Hope all is well. MA, Glad to hear you liked it! I picked up a couple more subscribers (may be up to 40, basically all family haha) Prior to this video I was feeling some pressure to put out another. Trying to keep the momentum going with at least 1 video every 3-4 years. Lol! Happy t...

Re: Structure situation ?
I'm going to go with right where you caught them. Buck sez 8-10' is what they need. The 11' contour line isn't the shallowest depth on this hump. I wouldn't expect a large school on this spot due to its small size.

Re: The mental part of fishing
Couldn't agree more John! It takes a "Special" kind of person with large drive to do what's required. Dec 4th I took a guy out that I just met a couple of week ago and seemed to have what it takes, how many actually fish in 30 degree weather? Lol! It was your average December day in Madiso...

Re: Filet mignon catfish
They look delicious from the pics. I probably didn't cook them correctly cause my last experience wasn't a good one. That was before the Tragger. Fun to catch! Taking the grandkids out trolling ages 3 & 5 in June. Anyone ever fry up or smoke a small Blue?
