The main thing that makes this retriever superior to any other is it's engineering. Starting with it's weight, (2lbs+) is needed to get you down and crash through brush or tree limbs.
Then there is the 2 chains 1, with a #5 salt water hook attached, (barbs cut off), These chains are welded "Machine Twist Chains" this Eliminates fishing line in between links. Also Eliminates Nicks in fishing line.
