Fishing for Pike on Navajo Lake - Spoonplugging

In this video, I meet up and fish with Steve Craig, who is a veteran Spoonplugger. We have a blast and although the weather does not cooperate with us, we manage to pull in several nice fish. We caught two pike that were on the edge of the weed line and they both showed signs of a beautiful turquoise tongue and mouth. I don't know what they are eating that causes them to change to this color. Still waiting back from NM Game and Fish Biologists for an answer.
