There is always something meaningful

Post by John Bales »

Going through the green book this morning because our weather is not fit to step outside.
Page 274 at the bottom of the page.
"Always remember depth control means WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, and HOW. Speed controls will make the fish take, and also tell you WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, and HOW. This puts all tackle items in their right perspective. You should know WHAT each will do, WHEN it is needed, WHERE it should be used, WHY it is needed, and HOW it is used." Lots here to absorb. John

That's why I love Spoonplugging. There is a plan for the water when you get there. Research before, checklist and procedures for on the water, reflection for after. I LOVE catching fish but even when not catching fish I am gathering information for the next trip.
