Just joined. I’m a spoonplugger from way back. Helped start the Illinois spoonplugging club back in the 80’s, then I moved to Minnesota and lost touch with a lot of the guys. I look forward to connecting again.

Hi Mike.. Welcome to the forum!
I certainly remember you, and all the stories/adventures you had. Like the boy scouts throwing rocks at you!, the missing bearing buddy on your trailer that you thought i took. All good memories!
Glad you found the forum. Not too many of the original club members left. Original club members Bob Roels, Bob Fishrup and I are all going to Red lake Ontario next week.
Lots of good water in your area, post some fishing reports!
