Do you use any of the "super" lines(rip-cord, fireline, etc..) for trolling?

Never tried it

Super lines or No-Bo?

This was a recent topic on America Outdoors. Just curious what everyone thinks and if they use it.

I've been using the Power Pro 80lb for casting up shallow on lakes with muskie. I never tried it on the troll but I think I'll stick with the Nobo and wire.

The braided scene

Hi Jerry. Ive tried the power pro in the 30 lb test for the muskies. Deb is always complaining that the muskies are too hard to reel in with the wire. I put a roller tip on one rod and now she loves the wire again. The line legnth that you have to let out to achieve the maximum depth is just not worth it with the power pro. It has a place but in no way should it ever totally replace the wire or the no-bo. John
