Otter Lake
central Illinois
765 acres
water color: mostly medium yellow/green
I will post my maps of this lake at the end of the week.
I map like this does not have a lot of detail.
Where is your "fishing" water at?

First place i would start would be to check out that submerged Roadbed.
Also the Dam area as well.
The key to any reservoir is the side feeder creek channels. And there are some good ones in this lake it appears.

Religion is a guy in church, thinking about fishing.
Relationship is a guy out fishing, thinking about God!

Attached maps of the (3) structure situations near the dam.
Map #1 is to the right side, Map 2 is the the left side and map 3 is by the dam.
All (3) areas produced muskies, and area 3 was the only one that produced bass.
i could never figure out area 2. The long bar looks like a classic and you would think they would come up on the end of the bar, but I never caught anything towards the end of the bar, always on the side.
Some maps have very little or no detail and you have to work to find the structures. I had actually mapped the lake and caught no muskies til my 4th trip on it. From that point on it was game on!
