Does anyone know if a mapping program would do as good a job as Don did on this bar?

You need to rewatch the the video! No, i do not believe there is a program that will replace the procedure.You MUST DO THE WORK!

Nothing replaces the spoonplugging process for mapping a structure. The mapping is just the start. Then you must fish it correctly according to what you just mapped. No other substitute. The mapping features can be used while doing your interpretation of a feature. The map your depth finder draws is just a map. It cannot catch the fish. A fancy depth finder cannot catch you a fish, a fancy trolling motor is great(spot lock is the cats ass) , but it does not put fish in the boat. They are all great tools for the one who has already done the work and has good spoonplugging knowledge. Those tools will greatly enhance a fishermans knowledge. Do not expect any fancy tool to do the work for you. If you cannot do the work yourself, as written, you are already in trouble anyways. John
