Always fun watching your videos. Hope this virus stuff and the shutdown in IL doesn't kill any future trips and videos. Kind of a strange world right now.

Re: The Die hards!

 We’ve got 7 inches of snow on the ground down here and forecast overnight is 6 degrees, but the lakes are still open for the moment, and a warmup is in the forecast, so I’m excited to have a chance at open water possibly by the weekend 8-)

Re: Buck trivia question

Just so we can get to the answer quicker, I’ll throw one out there  I do know that in addition to Spoonplugs, Don Nichols and John Buoy used to also use L&S Bass Masters a lot, at least down in Florida, though probably mostly for trolling with. I’ll go with it...

Re: mapping

Mr. Perry states in the green book that the most important thing in your future as a fisherman is your ability to interpret bottom conditions. Without this knowledge , a fisherman has no chance. There must be a reason for every trolling pass or a cast. It is to eliminate the unproductive water and ...

The original newspaper picture from that trip that appeared June 20, 1965, and the article headline (article written by Art Reid, who passed away back in 2005 at the age of 78).

Re: The enemy is here

John, you need to try and find out what chemical they will be treating with. Probably something similar to what they’ve used in the past. Also, any idea what type of weeds are in the lake? Milfoil? Cabbage? May or may not be able to do something based on the answers above. Hopefully they don’t go fo...
