Re: lake type

I agree with what you are saying. I mentioned the same thing in another thread ,that a good structure situation is a good structure situation no matter what type of lake you may think it is. I only posted this just to get some imput from other pluggers. I actually started to miscall it figuring it m...

Re: Fishing Deep

Does anyone else agree. I looked at lake norfork on navionics I see it is a bit long and narrow looking like a highland type. But man there is lots of long bars in this lake more like what u find in a lowland. Didn't think I would see this good of structure in a true highland type.

Re: Movement Times

I TOOK A LOOK AT HUGO LAKE NOW THAT WE HAVE NAVIONICS.I wonder if the guy ramrod is still fishing. He picked a tough lake for a new plugger, flatland #2 . Lots of trolling water here quit a bit of deltas. But there are some good fishing areas in this lake. Looks like the water color is very good.Mai...

Re: What type of reservoir am I?

Lake norman is a lowland lake .I have fished it maybe 6 times have taken largemouth up to 5 lbs. but you will mostly catch spotted bass up to about 2.0-2 1/2 labs. It has all kinds of good structure mostly bars/humps . Water color is usually ok but have seen it to muddy and also to clear. The big ba...

Re: Ray Roberts Lake

Determining the reservoir type seems to always be challenging topic. This is true in a lot of cases but a good structure is a good structure no matter what type res. class we put on it. The big wide dam says flatland also the arm on the left seems flatland. But the arm on the right is more along the...

Re: Hamilton Lake

This is a very weird shaped lake .I would have to call it a lowland .As far as where I would fish. Most likely would have fished mostly between the 2 bridges on the main lake but water color might have me elsewhere
