Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
The same to you Gary. I am going out tomorrow to get the special fish for the table. Will take the time to bleed him out in the live well before I get him home. Deb already made the stuffing. We like to plan ahead a little. Hope they bite. Would hate to have to eat a darned turkey!!!!!!!!! John

I just got done hooking and ringing a bunch of my buddies. 1 0z, 3/4,5/8,and 3/8. These are all in the 3 1/4 inch series. We have been kicking butt with them and it's only going to get better. John 260-854-3921

Re: Powerpro line
The brown brothers are very high on the list of great human beings. They are good spoonpluggers also. And make the best ice cream in the whole world. Plus they are my ride to Chicago for the early season talk. I tell them if they dont drive me, I'm not going. Good people as are most that you meet al...

Re: Powerpro line
Gino, I know how you feel about the Musky. I too was obcessed with the Musky when the Detroit river system and connecting waters were the best in the country. But when the big fish kill came several years ago, I lost interest. Once you catch quite a few fish over the 50 inch mark, and one at 55 1/2 ...

Re: Powerpro line
I have been watching the post about the power pro lines and the fireline. I too have experimented with some of these lines. When you first start using these lines, you note the ease at which these lines reel through the guides. No more pointing the rod towards the lure while reeling in a fish and no...

Re: 16' Pro Structure Boat on Ebay
I agree with you Fran, That would make someone a fine boat for a little bit bigger waters. It looks like it is very good condition. By the way, I have to put a limit on the number of Bales Blades you can buy or I will run out too fast. Brent is doing some fine tuning of the molds and I cant make any...

Re: SHOW US YOU RIG
Gary, That is a bad %$# rigg. When I was a youngster, I wanted one of those real bad. One day I was fishing lake Wawasee and went past a marina which sold Walers. I went in and got a suprise on the price of those things and knew right then that I would never be lucky enough to own one. I see one tha...

Hi guys, Just wanted to make something clear. Somehow, a few people either mis-read or mis- understood my original sales of the buddies. Shipping is $4.95 for the whole order. I can stick 100 in a flat rate box and it is still only $4.95 to ship. Had a fellow that wanted two lures and sent $9.90 for...

Bink, I too fish out of a 680........ A 1989 model that will be with me for a long time. If I ever get anything else, it will be a 14 or 15 ft jon boat with about a 15 hp for some of the smaller lakes near home. But my ranger will be by my side till its over. John

Hi Guys, Just got back from Zaborney's outing. What a blast. The guys that went to the detroit river got in on the end of the white bass run. They caught em till their arms could take no more. Brent Robbins from the Grand Rapids club and I are working on some new silver buddies and are going to have...

Re: 80lb nobo Question
Hi Bink, You will loose some depth with the 80lb no bo. I do not use it when using the smaller lures and no bo. Most of the time when using the 80lb test, I am using the bigger lures so it makes very little difference in the depth lost. Just let out more line. We only use about an 8 to ten inch piec...

Re: casting rod/reel
6 1/2 to 7 ft mediam heavy with a good baitcasting reel. Whatever fits in your price range will do just fine. 14 to 17lb test line will handle most all situations. John

flashers
I was in the boat with Fran Myers last summer for a few days and he uses a vexilar flasher. I saw nothing wrong with this setup. Vexilar also allows you to pick the degree of transducer for the model that you buy and also allows use of a switch to go from one angle to another. One for shallow water ...
