Buck wrote that in less than 8-10 ft of water, cover becomes the adjustment to offset a bad situation, an...

Re: Something I noticed
I always found that this time of the year fishing is very hit or miss. As you mentioned John, the "change" starts happening (unstable). Went down to central and southern Il a week ago. Fished 2 lakes I know very well. A few small bass on one lake and zero on the other. This changing/unsta...

Re: Navionics web app
Sad for sure Not sure if they Navionics stop it or sold it to Garmin. I used it quite a bit and was beginning to see some faulty information. Will be interesting to see what Garmin does with other than charge heavy fees to use. The last couple years I have very few fisherman that really understand a...

David
Really looking forward to the discussion on your question. In my spoonplugging days I have absolutely zero experience with Reservoirs or man made bodies or water. Natural lakes are my domain here in SW Michigan. This sounds like a great discussion starter.

Re: Question on Fish movements?
Yes, both ways as long as they’re moving - IMO. Easier to sit on the spot and wait for them to arrive, but many articles Buck wrote mention catching a final few on really long casts as the school moved away (back). Or even situations like the Florida breaklines where there really wasn’t a casting p...

Re: Question on Fish movements?
Well many my confusion is just that confusion...
When Buck talks about fish movement and fish being catchable. They can be caught moving toward shallower water? Can they also be caught moving back toward their sanctuary waters, the deep??
Hal
